Thank you for your interest in Scholarship Prep Charter Schools! We understand the importance of providing a high quality educational option for families, and we take seriously your ability to choose the school that is best for your child. Thus, we encourage you to learn more about our school to help you make the best decision for your family by viewing our website and attending an information meeting.
Prior to enrolling, we invite you to a voluntary "information meeting" (not required) which will introduce you to our school's philosophies, educational program, give you a chance to meet our school leaders, complete application paperwork, and ask any questions you may have.
The next step is to complete an pre-enrollment form. To ensure your child will be part of the lottery, if needed, submit a completed pre-enrollment form during the Open Enrollment period. This can be completed online or in person at the school office or any information meeting held by the school during Open Enrollment.
If more enrollment forms from potential students are submitted than the number of spaces available at each grade level, the school will conduct a random public lottery. We will mail, call and/or e-mail each family to confirm their child's acceptance until all available seats are filled. It is possible to be placed on the waitlist and then called from the wait list later in the year.
In order to ensure that your child is fully enrolled upon admittance, you are required to complete any necessary paperwork by the deadlines set by the school. The packet may include permission for the school to request a copy of your child's record, and important information about your child so that the school can be prepared to provide the best education possible starting on day one.

A: Our Santa Ana and Oceanside campuses are taking enrollment applications now for existing openings for the 2018-19 school year. Open Enrollment for both campuses has elapsed, which means that any applications submitted now will not be included in any lottery. Both schools will continue to accept enrollment applications.
A: Yes. Enrollment continues after the Open Enrollment period, through the start of the school year. However, if a lottery is needed, only those who applied to enroll during the Open Enrollment period are considered for open seats. If open seats remain after the Open Enrollment period, Scholarship Prep will continue to accept applications until all seats are filled.
A: No. Prospective students who apply during the Open Enrollment period will either be enrolled into the school, or if more applications are taken than available seats at any grade level, then all who apply for the impacted grade level will be entered into a lottery.
A: After the end of Open Enrollment, if any grade level has received more applications than spaces available, Scholarship Prep will hold a random public lottery for the available spaces at the impacted grade level. The lottery will be publicized in advance and held at a location open to the public so that prospective families may attend.
